Our Mission

Growing Healthy Crops

We know that food grown on healthy land with healthy farming practices is healthy food. We act as stewards of this land, caring for its health to support yours.

A Family Operation

Specializing in certified seed potatoes, Lane Farms has been owner/grower operated since 1990. We take great pride in producing the highest quality crops for our customers. Centrally located in the isolated Grande Ronde Valley of Northeast Oregon, we are easily accessible from Highway 84.

Certified Seed Potatoes

Our seed is grown in compliance with Oregon's strict seed certification standards. Certification results can be found under Field Reports.

We are currently growing the following FY4 (Generation 3) seed varieties:

Clearwater Russet  - Ivory Russet - Hamlin Russet

Celebrating Oregon's state vegetable

Induction of the Potato as the offical Oregon State Vegetable

2023, an exciting year for the Oregon Potato Commission and potato farmers throughout the State as the humble potato is named the State Vegetable of Oregon! Lane Farms was represented at the induction in Salem, Oregon on September 23rd, 2024, a witness to this historic event and taking part in the celebration!!!
